Today's Crop

As you can see, our tomatoes are not doing so well this year as in previous years!  There are some larger ones, but they are very reluctant to ripen, so it may have to be chutney.

Had planned a restful day after yesterday's exertions, but it was not to be.  Three lots of washing done and dried, two lawns cut (one still to do), an unproductive plum tree chopped down and the apple and second plum tree trimmed back to the little fruit there is.  They are also for the chop, along with the cherry tree, later in the year.  

We are trying to make the garden lower maintenance as we are getting older, as we'd like to enjoy it and not feel like its slaves:-)
