Lido Canal Sunset

A couple of nights on the Venezian island of Lido, our base of operations for a trip into Venice. After a long drive, we grabbed a pizza, wandered along the beach, and then made our way back along the canals.

And every so often, you peek around a corner and see the light do something cool.

So, here it is, the setting sun dropping behind one of the buildings on the right. The last of the light shining along the waterway.

Easy to see the romance in the place when the light does this.
