Why the big paws?

Based on my post-drive experience of last year I was kind of expecting to feel physically exhausted today and yet it still sort of caught me by surprise. Fortunately I had low expectations of myself and I have pretty much managed to meet them. We did start the day with a lovely long dog walk which got my aching joints moving again. But other than that I have mainly been auditioning for part of teenager in the household (we have an opening coming up) and have lain in my pit watching White Collar box sets and occasionally surfacing for food.

Carlos seems to have made the most of my absence by giggling his way through some Richard Feynman's physics lectures. I managed to silence the "you really must watch this" by pointing out how he would feel if I said "you really must listen to The Archers". The kids are going to have to come up with their own arguments. Anna is currently giggling her way through some Michael McIntyre - I'm sure it is very similar.

It is only fair that Albi needed some recovery time too.
