The Beach Again

I was up to watch the Mo Farah programme and last night's 5000m before social media told me who had won. Very delighted when the man himself did it. Great to see Barry Fudge, my old colleague be part of the team too!

Then it was my run.....I was frustrated after yesterday and had decided to dig deep today. I did my most of the session on last year's half-marathon pace......it was way hard but I loved every minute of it. Think it helped that after Rosemary telling me I had a funny running style, she had watched Al n Johnny running and had actually seen what I was trying to achieve ha ha!

With her dad at the wheel, we headed down to Seacliffe beach for a a swim. I'm at my happiest in the ocean, and was excited by the birds flying above, the little crabs and a beautiful blue jelly fish. Rosemary had seen a lion's mane jelly too..... I think a bit of it wrapped itself round my wrist as I ended up getting stung by something. 

We had lunch in Tyninghame and then ascended Traprane Law to end off another chilled day!!
