Au Revoir Paris

Up early for breakfast in our hotel and we packed up and left just after 9am. We had a clear run down to Calais and were hoping to hop on an earlier crossing but due to a crossing being cancelled there was no space available.
We eventually boarded and set off. It wasn't a very pleasant crossing (there were apparently strong winds yesterday and we caught the tail end of it) and I was very relieved to get off there with my croissants still intact.
A slow drive back round the M25 then hallelujah, we were home!!
So happy to be back, mum and dad are here for a curry and they've brought the dogs who have had a wonderful time.
What a fabulous holiday we've had, we've seen and experienced so much together. It's been a hoot.
