Thanks for the kind words on yesterday's three thousandth blip - like I need any encouragement.

Woke up this morning feeling human for the first time in a week or so. Decided to test the recovery by heading out on a long and muddy yomp through the Yester Estate with Mrs S and Ruby and the two dugs.

Ruby was faring even worse than me as she'd been out last night and was surviving on three hours sleep. But after a wee rest we pushed on and made it back to Gifford, at which point the pug decided he really needed to run off into the flower fair and so I had to spend a while excusing myself and looking under tables before I found him and escorted him from the tent.

Back home for showers, pasta and films.
