of the wild flowers in the garden at Stanton is never understated :)
 
So powerful, yet so relaxing and calm....  The previous gardener worked very hard to get this in place :)

Sadly they left after 3 and a half years at Stanton, and the Trust are short staffed at the moment.  They're looking for another couple to assist in the  running of the Retreat House. Also looking for volunteers (anyone looking for a Christian gap year?) 

A lovely sunny day spent doing very little except spending time quietly, relaxing, sleeping, chatting and eating good food :)

I just looked back on last year and strangely, I ended my holiday by blipping flowers in the wild flower garden here :)
