It is Friday

This is Kathy and John Dyson of the "Jazz Police" band.  They had come up from Leeds, a good couple of hours away and it was a joy to see them.  I have painted them before ....see  here  &  here ....and this may be the last time as Cathy has got a job interview as a jazz lecturer at Sydney University, Australia.  As they are paying her fare I think they really want her.  So we will miss them. 
Cathy was holding on with some determination to her plectrum - so I had to include this moment!!
Another jazz colleague of theirs - Mark Donlon....has been recruited to Wellington University.  Another trip to the Antipodes may be necessary!!
