Concert at the Castle

Tonight we (us and Débora) went to a poetry-with-music concert in the castle keep above Arraiolos... again, how to describe listening to the most brilliant show, marrying the best of poetry and music from Portugal, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Brazil, and from different eras - simply superb, in a setting of a ruined castle, with the full moon rising slowly above the battlements as we watched, and stars coming out all around - and it didn't cost a euro; it was totally free; how to do justice to something so amazing?

Well, was it perfect? No, because we were freezing. Incredible how you can be almost unable to bear the heat one week, and the next, wishing you had scarf and gloves...

An extra of the man - don't even know his name - because I want to remember his expressive face - what a performer he was...
