Horses and Corn

I took this photo on Tuesday afternoon as we left the Amish country of Pennsylvania but I did not look at all the photos on the camera until today. Taking photos out of a moving bus with reflections coming at all directions is not great but after I looked at this several times I decided it was a pretty good abstract.  What is happening here is the Amish farmer is using two horses to pull a cutting machine to cut the corn close to the ground.  There were already several "sheaves" of corn that we passed by but I never expected to actually see the cutting being done.

Not exactly the abstract Thursday theme for this week but I used it because I could not bring myself to take a single photo today as I have thousands to look through to edit or delete after 16 days of travels to Canada.
