There once were trees

This view is across the road from my driveway where there recently was acres of forest. The owner has either sold the property to a developer for new homes or decided to just sell the wood to the pulpwood dealers. 

We have a thick row of  trees directly in front of our house so our home cannot be seen from the main road which is heavily traveled but my neighbor to the left is very visible now as they have only a few small flowering trees in the yard.

Mostly I am sad and concerned about the deer and foxes that lived in those woods. They don't have much more wooded area around here now. Progress is not good for wildlife.
