First to claim their spot

Not a lounger to be seen on the beach across from the hotel. It's very much a lay your towel on the sand and put up your umbrella sort of beach. There's plenty of space for those who come early but by mid morning there is hardly enough space for another towel. My pal and I decided the loungers round the hotel pool were for us ..... once down on the sand we would probably have been there until rescued.
