The Cloisters of St Jeronimo's Monastery

A wonderful place for a visit. Despite being busy there was a real sense of peace and tranquility as we wandered through the cloisters marvelling at the intricate detail of the carved stonework.

The monastery itself was rather dark and not really to my taste but I rather liked this sunny stained glass window.

Today was very warm and humid with some sunny spells .... tiring weather for walking around so tomorrow we are having a lazy day.
