Okavango Delta Day 2 - All about eating

Day 2 Elephant and Hospitality

Elephant shaking a palm tree to get the palm nuts at the top of the tree to fall to the ground.  Sometimes the monkeys provide this service for them.

Hospitality:  a formal meal back at camp.  Dry food and drinks are brought in once a month by trucks. Fresh food arrives once a week by plane.  Everything was so delicious and original.

Another use for an abandoned termite mound:  turn it into a pizza oven. one of the imaginative places where we were surprised to be served brunch whilst out on our safari!!!  The pizzas were great!

Finally sundowner drinks were served at a different location each evening of our stay.  We just never knew where they were going to turn up!
