Agricultural Fair

This is the Agricultural Fair held in Mzuzu for the Northern Region.
We are showcasing our Zoe pump, our Seedlings, our Education Centre, our Preschools.
This was the first day of three and thee crowds were very large according to reports.

As well as our new irrigation pump we were showing off our fruit treesseedlings from the farm

LUSANGAZI FARM
8 km from Mzuzu on the M1 South, is the Lusangazi Sustainable Organic Farm.
Much of its focus is on research with an emphasis on the production of improved variety fruit trees, combined with conservation agroforestry examining the efficiency of local green manure plants.
The farm uses no Artificial fertilizer or Chemical pecticides and is wholly organic, researching and using local plants and herbs to protect against various pests.
It boasts well over 100 plant varieties and has a seed saving programme. It has been certified as a place for seedling production getting 96% in its evaluation.
The farm employs 14 people with one studying in Horticulture NRC. It sources seeds, scions and rootstock from all over Malawi, selecting only the best.
