Common Darter at the AOG

There was a lot action over the pond at the AOG today. In particular there seem to be some rivalry between the dragons. The Emperor was showing his muscles by zooming up and down and chasing a certain blacktailed skimmer out of the pond. The skimmer knew what he was up to and ducked out of the way for a while and so did this common darter. Unfortunately a wasp got caught in the crossfire getting into trouble on the water and not recovering, I think I even heard some murmurs or was it sighs of relief when it failed to surface.
