Autumnal August

The rowan berries have been ripe for some time and it's only 17th August! Maybe we're going to have a prolonged and glorious autumn - or maybe not.

My extra today is the promised picture of the honeycomb ice cream I had yesterday afternoon. OK, I can't tell a lie - I had another one today as the rather dull morning turned in to a brilliant afternoon. Mind you, I didn't want one, I only bought another in the interests of Blip, in fact I almost bought one and donated it to someone else so I could take a picture! Almost.
