Long shadows

I'm fairly certain I missed a cloud inversion this morning but I did have an extraordinary good sleep instead.  I tried to catch a bit of the mist as it rose off the moors but in the end concluded that it would be a beautiful heather walk in the earlyish light instead. A swirl of swallows joined us on the edge of the moors which added a little special feeling.

I took advantage of a delightful summer's evening with a bike ride round to the reservoirs.  Exploring a new tiny road, I discovered this beautiful outlook in the lowering light.

And then there was Kenny and the Kierin and Laura trotting round in the Omnium (And Bex on Norwood Bottom.) 

What a night!
