Kirkby Stephen.

A beautiful day, warm and sunny, not common in this part of the world!  We had things to do in town and a supplier to visit near Kirkby Stephen.  So a quick visit into town, where CC was successful in her quest, then off to Kirkby Stephen.

It is always interesting visiting this supplier as they have all sorts of things reduced which aren't shown anywhere else.  Another successful quest over we continued into KS for lunch.

After lunch we wandered round the town enjoying the sunshine and the shops.  A good number of shots were taken and I have chosen this one as for me it sums up the town.  The architecture is unspoiled by modern developments and the whole place just feel "right".  Another advantage is free parking !  I would love to know why Eden District  council is happy with free parking there but charges at its Penrith car parks.
