Shocking

This is how the other half live.

This is the dividing fence between us in our budget appartment and the elite in the Hilton hotel.

We don't mind. We've had another fun filled action packed day! A leisurely start to the day, we can't seem to manage the first wally train then its a lottery to see if you get on the second! Very stressful for a holibobs but it usually works out ok. So second wally train caught we set off on todays expedition.

We took wally up the hill today, caught a bus to Benalmadena marina, had lunch which was lovely then took the ferry to Fuengirola. Now, here i must mention the queuing system! ,we waited to the side, a queue built up, the boat arrived and we joined the queue at the back! Now is it our fault if the boat boards from our end at the back first and those who queued wrongly were now last. One lady arrived from what was now the back to the front where we were and with no mistake her and her husband were getting on first.

Now, If we got off at Fuengirola we'd have to wait until 5.45 to get a ferry back. 2 hours! So we stayed on board and came straight back. On the way there Mr C asked if anyone would like a drink. Well, it needed thinking about obviously, but the answer was never a 'no'. Silly question really but he knows that, he just goes through the motions.

I have to mention our two teenage childrten here who directed us with military precision from our bus stop to the main marina to purchase tickets and board the boat. Without them I think me and Mr C could have ended up walking back to our appartment without realising. So, thankyou cherubs. X

With boat trip done, souveineers bought except a taccy t towel, we caught a bus back 'home' a quick change before finding a taxi and off to Benalmadena pueblo again for a chinese meal. Not the best.

A nice taxi driver brought us back to the apartment, he talked about romance and stuff because of the view!! Cherubs nearly vomitted! Bless them.

We passed the fence again and the other half are still playing tennis. What we didn't realise was the infinity pool which we visited for cocktails, even the residents to the hotel have to pay 40€ per day for use of the pool and a soft sun bed.

Shocking.
