Enjoy it.

I've been to cricket today.

It was a family day out. We visited family this morning which was nice, found a nice bakery in Appleby for lunch before going on to watch the cricket.

I was assured i would enjoy it, a little scepticle myself but everyone else was up for it so like a good mother and even better wife!!!! I put my smile on and off we went.

The two teams were warming up when we got there and I announced if the ball came anywhere near me I was going home. Anyway, the beer was good and the ball stayed away. My son and I went on a mercy mission for beer, cigarettes and ice cream. We got the lit and returned to two more faces with smiles on them.

I was promised sun shine but that didn't materialise.

The game was actually quite good and the home team won by 1 run. The only downfall was the ball did come my way a straight 6. Straight over my head. I watched it and watched it and was sure it was coming for head, do i catchit, do i duck, do i sit still or run? I had no clue so i sat still and watched it fly over my head. No one was hurt.

We went out for tea as we had not been able to find a proper lunch which was pleasant.

So about the day, yes I did enjoy it.
