A field of blue!

Out earlier this morning to capture a field we saw on the way back from shopping on Thursday. It has drawn a great deal of attention. I initially thought it was flax - linseed, but it isn't.

In the few minutes that we were parked 2 other cars stopped to take photographs. B climbed the ditch to get specimens of the flowers. I've tried to do a search to see what they are without success. I have found someone else who posted a picture of the same flower but didn't get an answer.

Suggestions of Borage and Echium were made, but the flowers are not the same.

Planning another afternoon and evening watching the tele!!! So many sports and events still to take place.........:0)

I had the first opportunity to capture dragon flies; a blue one and a green one with a funny face, who looks more elegant from a side view.
