Doon The Watter!

Too much excitement today.  The first time seeing a new place for ages, and I can't believe I've never been to Millport before.

Lots of excitement, and lots of gaps between trains and boats.  Up early and a sunny walk up to the 7.30 train.  I did wonder if wasn't all a bit much when we were sitting waiting for the train eating ice cream from Nardini's and they starting playing 'Club Tropicana' at the dodgems.  I punished myself with some exceptionally dull reading on the train, then sprinted between trains in Glasgow just to get myself back down to earth.

Put up the tent in the back garden.  The size of the tent wasn't a problem, but the length of the poles was quite a challenge.  Also, it's never going back in that bag.

Allotment, track cycling, this and that.  It's amazing how much energy you get from the sun.

Here's MV Catriona, which was being tested.  It's an exciting new Ferry .  Nowhere near as exciting as the ferry we actually took - Loch Shira, which might become a Lego model - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/99373
