Catch up

Huge pile of ironing this morning (when I finally managed to get up!) then over to see Glasgow Girls with V. Great story and songs, funny and poignant.
Off to have a drink, late lunch and chat. Seems ages since I saw her so there was a lot of catching up to do.
Over to the book festival to catch David Ashton-author of the McLevy stories I've been listening to on the radio and who it turns out is a friend of my Californian family (although he's Scottish and lives in London!) so I had a chat with him after his talk then headed home, taking a slightly long way round to get some extra steps. Hadn't noticed this view of the castle before...
