Three's a crowd...

Altinkum ("Golden Sands") beach in Didim this afternoon - Robin and I were out for a wander and a gander.  I really can't imagine any circumstances that would persuade me to sit on such a crowded beach, but this sea front in Didim, known as Altinkum,  is a very popular tourist destination and I nearly always include a  pic when I am staying in Akbuk - the colours, the mayhem .... I like the guy apparently meditating in the middle of the hustle in this particular shot!  (Last summer's version here)

Ended up having dinner right there on the sea front and joining my holiday neighbours Sally and Michelle who had, quite by chance, chosen the same restaurant.

Altınkum is a resort town in western Turkey, 123 km from Aydın. It is on the Aegean Sea, nearby the ancient Temple of Apollo  (yesterday's blip) and the ruins of the Ionian city of Didyma (Didim). .... Wikipedia

Hard to believe this is the same town as yesterday's blip!
