Skippers to medal?

Today was a catch up day for the insect events given yesterday's heavy rainstorms. The skippers showed  up  in force, initially the team of 3 participating in the Skipper Swirl-ups. Later in the morning the team of 2 were to be found in the Leaf Climb beating out the Ant Squad  who were not in their best form today . Fortunately due to the diligence of the security teams here the mallow stadium was not totally destroyed by the Japanese team (who were disqualified earlier in the week because of their unsportsmanlike behavior in eating the stadium). Hopefully we can catch up on the avian events tomorrow! All of the athletes were under the weather today because of the extreme heat and humidity. Several were heard to mutter that the humans have it a little  easier in RIO!
We took a trip to Pa. today to see my uncle and checked out the AOG events down there where it appeared the heat was also causing things to , um, shall we say heat up among some of the athletes also. In extras.
