End Of An Era
Our friend and former neighbor has decided to close his five-year old restaurant, El Murmullo. We have eaten there many times since our arrival, sometimes in return for photography or web work. He and his family moved to inland Mexico a little over a year ago and it just became too difficult to run a restaurant, which relies on the personality of its owner, long distance. While here on vacation this past month, he made the difficult decision to close the doors to one of our favorite eating establishments. We were by this afternoon to wish his staff well and purchase some of what has become his excess wine. We will miss the food (some of which is available nowhere else in town), the service, and the ambiance, as will many other Zihuatanejoians.
