Result on the Buddleia

It has been a bit quiet on the butterfly front in the garden so far this year but in the lovely sunshine this morning the Buddleia came good and attracted a good crop of butterflies including this Comma.

We are now on a week's holiday in the Lakes, we arrived at our rented cottage in the middle of a huge thunderstorm to find water pouring in through the back door and down the steps into the living room. A drain in the back garden was blocked, my first job was to stick my hand down to clear it!. A lot of the water disappeared down though the floorboards in the living room so there was only a little bit of mopping to be done in the kitchen.

Looking forward to some less extreme weather during the rest of the week.
