AOG12 The Glorious 12th
The 'Glorious 12th' the start of the Grouse season here in the Olde World. Visiting teams for the Flea Dressage competition were visibly shocked at the lack of noise at the arena this afternoon.
"I say - jolly good afternoon to all our former colonies and colonial cousins, eh what! Glad to see you all bouncing around and showing up for the Flea events. Oh yes, sorry, should introduce myself, Hawker Farrington-Whistler here, jolly nice chap even if I do say so myself."
"Here, mounted on her Grey Gelding we have Felicity Fullof-Herself from a small farming family based in Devon. She took a straw from her dashed smashing lips and told me, "We don't get many fancy folks down here so often." I'm going to carry on chatting her up; I mean getting to know her so here is Wellard Comfortable-Shoes in the studio, over to you Wellard."
'Hooway for the Cavalwy old boy, thanks awfully. Never have a gun or a camera to hand when you need it. Team Flea UK have based themselves in the fur of a deranged goat but that's enough about our production assistant - we have high hopes for our dressage team, if they can be persuaded to leave the cover of the aforementioned assistant. Must be off, things to shoot, dogs to feed and a swine to get out of my hotel bedroom, told me he had money - most of it being mine."
