Colour Run

At various moments during today I set my  mind to trying to get my head round today's theme of 'Run' for youoregon's Abstract Thursday and to try and get my brain on to thinking differently. Thank you as ever youoregon.

I had frustratingly drawn a blank all day, I hadn't seen any runners, I had thought of wetting newspaper and having a 'print run',  I looked at running rivers, rivulets of rain copiously running down my windscreen and, in extremis, I had contemplated running with my camera (which I did end up doing eventually - see extra).

Anyway, as I got in my car this evening to drive back from Lancaster I saw this chap on the pavement opposite who had been running down the street and stopped to answer his mobile phone. Bingo ... and a bit of freespiral style farnarkling and bob's your uncle.

Then, just when I thought the blip was bagged and I was almost home in an altogether less urban environment, I was confronted by Daisy here (extra) who was on the run. After this Mexican stand off I got out the car and tried to herd her back into the farmer's yard when shortly after he drove down and I headed her off whilst he put her back in the field. My knees are still shaking a bit ... cow's freak me out.
