Ready, Steady...Slide

For our childminding adventure today we took the Flumlet to sample the new play area at Dalkeith Park which, as he is under 3-years old, was free.

Even though he was not feeling too well, he enjoyed the little roundabout but despite the difficulties of access by climbing net, perked up on the slide, which had a play hut at the top. He then took Mr Flum onto one of the larger apparatus as we descended to the Restoration area for a light snack, leaving for home just as the rain began (so he didn't really need his wellies after all).

After a good hour's nap and scrambled egg lunch he was back to his usual bouncy self - and not a bumped nose in sight!
