Rowans by the river
In a suddenly wet afternoon, these rowan berries provided some brightness before the return of the sun. They seem suddenly very bright and abundant - is this not supposed to forecast a hard winter?
They are beside the River Eachaig, where the fishermen fish from the banks. My pal and I were utterly soaked by the massive shower we'd just survived; by the time we returned to our cars our trousers had dried again.
Bad winter or no, I'm sick of this so-called summer weather and long for some heat ...
