Bower of a Bowerbird
Satin Bowerbirds are quite common around here. The bowers though are difficult to find. The male Bowerbird builds them for courtship dances. They are decorated with blue things that he steals, in this case you can see the pegs and bottle tops, I have seen a string of dyed pearls in one. This bower is in use and he moves the items around the bower and refines the dancing ground. The actual bower is the structure made of grass and twigs in the foreground.
