Avocet

Another full day making the most of this short break in Suffolk.

The day started with a walk to the Quay in early light, the boat wreck is in extra. Then onto RSPB Minsmere, our first ever visit, I wanted to photo avocets for the first time. I ended up doing an over process of the iconically shaped bird, a bit different for me so I posted it.

I also enjoyed watching the sand martins feed their young so added this in extra too. We are now off to eat then out on a small organised evening walk at Snape with the aim of hearing nightjars. That would make a quite a few firsts today.
