Skaill (Day 456)

The wind was still very strong this morning as my beautiful wife and I wandered up the hill this morning. It was also a lot colder than of late. Back home we warmed ourselves with coffee.
Heavy showers passed by occasionally through the morning, but after lunch we headed to Skaill in sunshine. The westerly wind has built up massive waves and we were spattered with spray as we walked along the clifftop path. Conversation was impossible unless it was shouted over the roar of the breakers. I love days like this when the elements make you feel alive.
I missed my camera today, I could have taken hundreds of shots of the waves battering the cliffs, but I still can't lift the camera. This mobile snap will have to do for today's blip. HV's shot will be a LOT better.
