Flowerpot man

When we were on holiday they had a flowerpot man event on in Settle. I found one in our own village today!

A lovely day, except for a cool breeze. Nice for a walk though.

We went over to Dad's yesterday. He's been getting very upset over the fact that a new fence has been placed in his garden by a neighbour's contractor. Also a small concrete gulley for draining the rainwater from his patio has been destroyed in the process. Stuart and I think the earth will probably provide a better drain, but that's not the point as Dad feels very betrayed. With his poor eyesight, he didn't realise what was going on. We would rather he didn't pursue it because of his age, so Stuart has volunteered to send a letter to the neighbour. All a bit difficult.
