Could he be the father or brother of the young ladies enjoying the sea air on Aldeburgh beach yesterday? Or the old guy watching them?

The old wooden fishing boats which have been lying abandoned and decaying for decades on this once prosperous commercial fishermen's beach have recently had a cosmetic makeover in recognition of their heritage.
