Scary Edinburgh
This is a shot of the Edinburgh Ghost Bus Tour - I was rather pleased to get this at 1/20s handheld, although I was using a post to steady myself. The tour looked quite fun, although at that point in the evening we were heading to St Cuthbert's church yard for a performance of Master and Margarita ( a play based upon Bulgarkov's famous novel). A suitably eerie setting for a story that contains the Devil and witches as well as Pontius Pilate trapped in the Master's novel.
This morning we took in 2 to 5 (a musical by Kander and Ebb of Cabaret and Chicago fame amongst many others) which was presented by a talented group from the US (my first extra). It was really a series of songs rather than the full musical but no worse for all of that - the singing and acting were top notch.
In the afternoon we caught Mitch Benn's Don't Fear the Reaper gig, which had us in stitches. He really is a very talented man. (my second extra)
Needless to say, Edinburgh during festival time is a photographer's dream, and my final extra is of a group of Minions who seem to be exerting a strange fascination on the City's children - very scary indeed.
