The Monkey in the Zoo...

Today we went to Woburn Safari Park. We drove round slowly - with a bit of a scare when one of the bears tried to climb on a car just in front of us (dealt with by the Keeper). We then went into the Monkey enclosure. There was a bit of a jam - as the cars in front had monkey's all over them. Then one came and sat on the bonnet of my car - picking leaves out of the wipers. Then he decided to go on the roof. Peed down the windscreen - then called to his mates. They decided to try to peel out the rubber above the doors - doing fairly well until I figured I needed to shake them off by driving (not too fast though). Luckily the keepers fixed the damage! But my car still has muddy monkey prints all over it. 

We then went on the swan boats, watched the meerkats being fed, saw the elephant show and touched the elephants, watched the Birds of Prey being flown, followed by the exotic birds, before a trip round the walking safari - even seeing the otters move their babies from one location to another. 

In all - another brilliant day.
