Langollen Steam Railway

Today we visited the Pontcysllte Aqueduct, a world heritage site, and the took a trip on the Langollen Steam Railway, up the course of the River Dee to Corwen. Unfortunately, it transpired that Corwen was shut. Half day closing. We did find a cafe that was open, which was quite charming. 

The railway trip was fun - and relaxing after our busy day yesterday. There were plenty of steam enthusiasts around. We enjoyed it, although I didn't manage to get any shots from the front - but this one, leaning out of the window of our carriage, was quite fun.
