Life on the Good Intent

My Lovely Sheep

Oh a wild night last night. Hardly a wink of sleep as the wind battered our tents. My nephew's tent suffered some broken poles and we got his things out just in time before it collapsed completely.
The gale continued and we didn't venture too far from the remaining tent.
An enjoyable afternoon in the museum - nice to see the history of Islay, sad to see the stories of shipwrecks though.
I was touched to see lace garments donated by Lady Currie, her husband, Sir Alistair, was born on the island. He became a pathologist and eminent cancer researcher, I met him a few times when he was visiting labs I worked in. He is mostly remembered in my field as one of the first to describe 'apoptosis' or
programmed cell death.

I was going to blip the crashing waves but this sheep was posing beautifully. The weather reminded me of Craggy Island and Father Ted's Eurovision entry 'my beautiful horse'.
