He's got the moves....
Camp Bestival Day #2
So much happened today, it's really difficult to recall everything but I'll try my best...!
1. Gracie & Ferguson each acquired a weird finger puppet, it took them ages to decide, trying every conceivable animal onto every digit of their hands.
2. Evie, Marley & Gracie, draw, wrote, stamped & sent postcards to their Mum.
3. Alexander & I booked our 12:30 pm wedding at the "Big Love Inflatable Church"
4. We then went & made clay "things" under the shade of a huge oak tree.
E&M fashioned their own faces, Ferguson created a tree with a wooden fork and a ball & Gracie made a "cookie"
It was at this moment, I experienced that feeling of fear that I'm sure every parent faces at least once during their lifetime. Ferguson ran off into the crowds after me when I took Gracie off to the toilet. Marley tried to chase him but didn't manage to keep up.
He was gone, unbeknown to me at that time.
Luckily a lady at a stall, where we had just been, saw him stood crying and recognised him as "Fred" (funny!) and spoke to him telling him that she knew his Mummy was called "Suzanne". He nodded in acknowledgement & she took him to the "Lost Property" (Children) and thankfully we were re-united after just a short time....
He was so upset and I was so relieved!
(Later I went & bought the dress I had been trying on there, yes I did like it but I felt that I must as a thank you for finding my lost little boy..)
5. Marley then had her photo taken with the Olympic Torch
6. We had ice-creams before heading into the Dressing Up Tent...
Lots of wigs, silly hats and masks were recorded here and each of us exited with a fancy dress of some sort...
This is where I lost my son (again) and acquired a Mini Spiderman...
7. 4 faces painted (even Ferguson!)
8. Then the Castle Field for a so-s0 Adam Ant, a brilliant Bellowhead, chilled out Daisy, Kitty & Lewis & then into the night for a fab fab Hot Chip as the headliners.
The sun shone so high & bright on such a "fun-packed" day.
It was really really great & I can't put it in words.
