Hot drink on a cold day

It's bitterly cold but just rain and a little sleet until lunchtime today. When I left for work it was dark and wet and I opted for the car.

I don't often buy coffee and this isn't one, it's a Tumeric Latte. I needed to buy coffee beans for home and decided to try one.

It used nut rather than cow milk. As you'd expect it's milky and spicy, quite warming (which was welcome) but a bit gritty at the bottom. The good side of that is it means the tumeric wasn't out of a supermarket packet. It's an acquired taste and maybe I'd try it again if it snows ;-)

Thursday night running group was small. It was cold but not wet and windy. It was worth making the effort and a good way to end a busy and stressful day.
