Kelpie on George Street

This large horse structure in the centre of George Street, Edinburgh, was created by Andy Scott - the same man who created the 'Kelpies' situated in Falkirk.  The Kelpies are two giant Clydesdale horse sculptures which are now a major tourist attraction.  The 14ft George Street creation is a Chariot horse and has been commissioned especially for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and is designed on a Rook from a chess set.  The sculpture is made of galvanised steel.
