The Artist
Another trip over to Kinghorn to see our friend S's work, and the rest of the stuff up on the walls of the community centre there in the Kinghorn Artists' Annual Exhibition. A real variety of top quality stuff, and pretty reasonably priced. It's on until the 6th August and well worth checking out if you can. As well as S's work that often features his take on the seascape that I photograph from Portobello but from his side of the Forth instead, I also particularly liked the 'origami maps', the music boxes, the townscape pictures from Kirkcaldy and Dundee, the textile pictures, especially the blackbird and the bees, and some of the analogue photographic prints, especially the one of Neist Point on Skye. I'm sure everyone has their own favourites!
