The Stag

When I saw this on the roadside I nearly fell out of the lorry window looking at this stag as we drove past!! It's fantastic work done by Simon who is the chap in the picture. It is carved from oak and costs quite a bit.
They call themselves Carved Curiosities, Roadside Wood Carvings. Because that's where they do this stuff, by the road side with chainsaws and suchlike.
This was on the road to Torpoint. I have taken pics of more of his work, like hares, owls, otters, bears, king fishers and of course all sorts of shaped mushrooms. These of course are not as big as the stag and not as expensive. All from various woods too.
