Slow Birds

I went to Hoy for a walk around Cantick Head which is in the South Walls area. Lots of young terns about,mainly common, I think, not always easy from a distance. Quite a few great and arctic skuas too, and lots of black guillemots. As elsewhere in Orkney this year, it seems to have been a good year for breeding birds, hence the warning signs of young birds that may have wandered onto the road. The extra shot is at Cantick Head.
