Harvest

I caught up with some jobs in the garden first thing, quite heavy jobs that needed doing but which have been off the agenda for a while. I then took rent-a-dog on the circuit that goes past the doctors so could pick up a prescription.  The corn was golden in the sunlight and a farmer friend was out with the combine bringing the harvest in.  It seemed to me the archetypal English summer scene so I took a photo on my iPhone.
