Crabbing at Dartmouth
Today was a photography trip outing and we started early in the bright sun at Paignton where we boarded an open topped bus to Totnes. Here we wandered around the streets and then took a very early lunch (11.30am!) at the customary pub. Another short wander along the River Dart and then it was a boat trip down to Dartmouth. Here we took in the usual tourist sights and also spotted our first hermitage crab that some children had caught, but not the children in this blip. Next was a short ferry across the river to catch a steam train back to Paignton. It was far too hot for any visible steam though.
A good outing, with lots of photos taken and very good weather as well, the trip is known as The Round Robin.
