Begonias

The HG used to show begonias at flower shows, and was quite successful. At one time he was the Scottish Champion for a year.

Nowadays he doesn't show, but he still enjoys growing them, and our greenhouse is a riot of begonia colour.

We had a nice surprise today with a telephone call to tell me I had won a lawnmower in the raffle at yesterday's allotment open day, and they delivered it an hour later.  I should have tried the lottery this week!
